We’ve had this issue for years now, with no solution. BA Report displays dates in correction Australian format when run via BA Excel Add-In.

However, when report is schedule or run from IFS application  any date references on the report revert to US Format.

E.g. if there is a header in the report referencing the date the report is run or the date entered in a parameter it will show 9th June 2023 as 6/9/23 instead of Australian format of 9/6/23.

Just wondering if anyone has resolved this?

Hi @PennyB ,

If it is available in the Apps9 business analytics platform, you can use a “DATE_TO_CHAR” type functional parameter with your date format in your report design. This feature is available in the "Business Reporter" which was introduced from Apps10 onwards.

Best regards,

SandT

Thanks SandT

This works for formatting a parameter, but dates within the main body of the report are still converted to US despite setting the formatting in design mode. I still need it to be a date which it currently is, but not changed to US format. When ordered through the excel add-in I’ve no issue, but we’ve now moved all our reports to run through the BR execution server

Many thanks

Thanks @SandT for your reply. As @wmclennan replied - the date will appear fine in the BA Report design mode/when run via the Excel Add-In but it is when it is run via IFS/BR execution server, that it swaps to a US date format.
