Apple has announced iOS 27 and it is generally available to public from 14th Sept. 2026 onwards.
Initial testing of recent iOS 27 beta releases with current MWM Mobile applications has not identified any significant issues. However, IFS recommends that customers do not immediately upgrade their devices to iOS 27 until our Product team has completed validation of the final public release.
IFS strongly recommends that customers avoid installing major iOS updates as soon as they are released by Apple.
Each major iOS release requires compatibility testing with MWM Mobile to ensure that all product functionality continues to operate as expected. This validation process may take up to 90 days following the public release of the operating system.
For best results, customers planning to deploy iOS 27 should ensure that:
-
Their MWM Mobile application version is already compatible on iOS 26.
-
They are running the latest available service release for their MWM version whenever possible.
Please note that IFS testing focuses on standard MWM product functionality. Before deploying iOS 27 across your workforce, we recommend that you perform additional validation within your own environment to confirm compatibility with your specific configurations and end-to-end workflows.
If you have already upgraded to iOS 27 and experience any issues with MWM Mobile, please report them to IFS as soon as possible by creating a support case through the IFS Service Center using the Report an Issue form.
We will continue to provide updates on iOS 27 compatibility testing through this IFS Community post.
