Hi, I have an urgent question.
When trying to register a new customer, I encountered two errors.

When creating a new customer by clicking the “+” button
While following the input fields on the screen, I received the following error message:

“Field [DefaultLanguage] is mandatory and requires a value.”
However, in my configuration screen, there is no field for entering a language.
Where and how can I modify the settings to add a tab or field to input the language?

When copying an existing company to create a new one
Since method ① did not work, I tried creating a new customer by copying an existing company.
However, when I attempted to edit the address, I received this error:

“Access denied. The system administrator has not granted permission to perform this action.”

What should I do to resolve this?
For your reference, I have administrator privileges.

  1. You should be able to see the ‘Default Language’ field in the customer screen, as it’s a standard field. Could you please check in Page Designer to confirm whether the field has been hidden?
  1. Ensure that you have the CustomerHandling projection granted in the relevant permission.

Navigate to: Page Designer > General Information > Content > Default Language, and tick the Visible option.

I could confirm that Default Language field is now visible! Thank you for your corporation! 


However, it seems that I don’t have the necessary access rights to save the record.
I’d appreciate it if you could let me know how to grant the required permissions as an administrator.

Thank you for your reply.
As you suggested, I accessed it not from Accounting → Customer, but from Application Base Setup → Enterprise → Customer.
However, the screen doesn’t look the same as the one you sent — I don’t see the option to “Edit Projection Access for All.”
Could you please tell me how to enable or access that function?

You can navigate to the above screen via:
Permission Set > Projections > Manage by Navigator.

 


If you don’t know a specific Permission Set, you can open any Permission Set assigned to your user ID by following:
User > search your User ID > User Permissions > select a Permission Set > go to detail.
