Setting up Report Printers does not limit the available printers

Recently, I opened a ticket with IFS for this matter and the answer was that from 23R1 they remove from parameters the options below (I don’t know why), allow to set only printers available for the user.

system parameters: "Show only the assigned logical printers and default physical printer"

They have no solution and ask me to use de option “default printer”, that only put the printer first on the list.

I don’t believe there is a way to achieve this as already mentioned. We mitigated this by only setting up logical printers for direct functions like label printing. All other printing is done via the Aurena agent extension which can see the users locally installed printers and therefore doesn't need a logical printer. We then use report rules to override the selected printer based on conditions.

Probably not that helpful but thought I would share anyway!
