Lobby Overiew - filter

@jgrace could you elaborate a bit more on the business need. Which users, role or industry need this and why?

Consider this scenario: Upon loading the Lobby Overview, the system retrieves and displays all available lobbies simultaneously. However, this approach poses a challenge when the number of lobbies is extensive; for instance, if there are 50 lobbies, they all load at once, necessitating users to manually search for their desired one amidst the overwhelming list.

I'm contemplating the possibility of implementing a feature that organizes lobbies into groups. This way, users won't need to view the entire  lobbies at once, making the process of locating a specific lobby more efficient and user-friendly.

Accounting

    Lobby 2

Warehouse

   Lobby 3

   Lobby 4

etc

I do see the benefit of being able to filter lobbies in the overview. 
However end user are not meant to consume the lobby through the Overview page. They go into a lobby through the navigator or navigating from another lobby. They also should not access the overview page. They should access the My Lobbies page under My Administration where only the pages granted to you are visible. If there are lobbies that are used frequently by a user they can also choose to configure it in to the navigator or bookmark them for easy access.

The overview page is used by the Admin or a person designing a lobby. In which case they are looking for  a specific lobby. We do keep the name of the primary component but a Lobby is not bound only to one functional area. 

If you see a strong use case and demand for enriching the filtering capabilities of overview page please add an Idea. 

Hi @jgrace in addition to Wyomi’s comments, have you checked the permission sets to control who sees what?

I have a follow-up question regarding Lobby/Quick Reports. Are permissions assigned to each user in a similar manner? Additionally, could you point me to the relevant documentation on IFS for further information? Thank you.

Under Administration, I don’t see My Lobbies page
