Hello,
I could not establish the connection between "IFS Report Designer" and "IFS Cloud".
First of all, I made the "IAM Client" settings as follows;

I also added the security certificate to the "C:\IFS\IFSReportDesigner\certificates" folder;

When I wanted to establish a connection with the “IFS Cloud” in the "IFS Report Designer" application;

The following web page opens and the "Login successful" message appears on the page;

However, when I return to the "IFS Report Designer" application, I receive the following error and I cannot establish the connection;

Can anyone help me figure out what I am missing or doing wrong?
Thanks.

This occurs if the user you are logging in as does not have access to the ReportDesignerClientHandling projection.

You’ll need to either grant that user a permission set that is granted that projection or user an administrative user

If you were already logged in to IFS cloud in your browser when you click the button in report designer to establish the connection, it will establish the connection as that user. You will need to log out of the application and log in as a user that has access to that projection

Thanks for your answer Edwards.
But I am connected to IFS with IFSAPP user and IFSAPP user also has permission to the ReportDesignerClientHandling projection.

Sorry to hear you are still having issues.

Which version of the IFS report designer are you using (Help > about), and which service update are you on with IFS cloud?

I’ve seen previous versions of the report designer have issues with establishing the connection but thats the only other thing I can think of. . .

IFS Report Designer : 200.3.0001

Application service update: 23.2.6

Framework service update: 23.2.9

Any update on this? I am having the same issue

I'm sorry but the problem still persists.

I changed the IAM client to “Public” and it solved the issue.

You mean the area below, right?

I already selected the field as "Public Client". But I still get the same error.

Yeah - it fixed it for me.
