Hey IFS Community!

 

I'm looking for test automation with IFS Cloud specific to Service Management Module and PSO and could use some insights from those who've been there.

 

Is it generally possible to implement test automation in IFS Cloud? Are there any best practices or challenges I should be aware of? For those who have set up test automation in IFS Cloud, what tools or frameworks have you found effective? Any recommendations or tips on configuration?
 

How do you configure tests to ensure that documents are generated correctly?

 

I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences, challenges, and any resources you found helpful.

I can’t be much help but interested to see if anyone can share any knowledge. We are about to begin using a testing automation tool to help us in Apps10 and in Cloud when we move / upgrade...

HI All,

We are not yet automating our testing but this is also on our future roadmap. Currently we do end-to-end testing for major releases via a IT lead project. Each functional team is required to build out test plans for all there processes as part of it.

Eventually our expectations is to automate large parts of this eventually but that is still a distant topic for us. We will likely keep some of this process after adding automation as we want the teams to own testing key critical processes and not just expect that everything has been tested for them.

I’d also be interested if anybody else has already started this journey & what tools they are using.

Just out of curiosity...what tool do you use for this? 

We haven’t yet finalised and are yet to get our hands on the tool but we did a number of demos with different providers. We found that ACCELQ came out on top for functionality and UI
