Hi All,

I’m new to IFS Cloud framework , and need some understanding on IFS Mobile capabilities.

  1. I understand , IFS Mobile would be used by field technician and technician can only see the task assigned to him/her. Now, my question is , is it possible to create another task (under same work order) by technician through mobile interface , as out of box feature of product? If No, what would be best practice or IFS recommendation to enable technician to raise a priority task from site? 
  2. For a task , is it possible to retrieve asset detail, just by providing the site location, through  GIS Map function , as out of box feature of product ?
  3. Is it possible to see all the linear asset in IFS Cloud mobility solution ?

Please advise.

 

For #1 - yes, this is possible using the New Work/Additional Work buttons on the task/assignment. Are you using work orders or request management?
