Create Readonly Custom Attributes referring another Custom Attribute

in IFS Cloud, We would like to create a read only custom field in one entity and it should be based on another custom field in different entity

we know use of select statement from table _CFV, _CFT.

we would like to know if there is any other way like we use in report using IFS provided API
