I am trying to connect my IFS Report Designer with my IFS Cloud instance but I am receiving an error that the certificate is not found in the IFSReportDesigner directory. When I did the IFS Academy training, I never got this error, and the training environment didn’t have a certificate in their IFSReportDesigner folder:

 

The IFSReportDesigner folder that I got from installing this program did not come with a certificate folder or certificate file (I manually added the folder, but they are still looking for the certificate).

I already have my IAM Client set up in my IFS Cloud Instance.

I also noticed that there is a step about adding a certificate to the folder from the technical documentation Developing with IFS Report Designer - ALE Documentation For IFS Cloud but the link is not working.

Where can I find this certificate?

In google chrome
Navigate to details tab and select export

On the landing page screen of your IFS cloud instance, export the certificate as above (I’m using google chrome)

Save that certificate in C:\IFS\IFSReportDesigner\certificates or wherever your report designer was installed.
