Bulk Transfer Requisitions, Purchase Orders from one Buyer to another

Hi,

One of our Buyers is going on long leave and would like to Bulk Transfer any Req’s, PO’s, RFQ’s, Invoices and so on that are on their name as Responsible Buyer. Is there a functionality in IFS Cloud to Bulk Transfer Req’s Purchase Orders and so on?

 

We are on IFS Cloud 22R2

Hi, 

Did you tried it through migration job. 

 

User have to write a migration job for each task then he can push bulk data.

Hi @ALFREDWRIGHT ,

 

You can do it easily with this way;

 

1- Filter records that you want to change.

 

2- Right mouse button on the column you want to bulk change and select ‘Find and Replace’.

 

3- Just change the data.

...to add to these,

  1. Migration Jobs - The Excel Add-In uses Migration Jobs and makes it easy for users to make updates like this as needed.
  2. Find/Replace - In IFS Cloud, the Find/Replace functionality from Apps 9 has been replaced with “Edit All”. This option should available in the column header.
  3. Script - We run IFS on our own servers and are able to run scripts for things like this as needed. You may be able to do something like this if the other options fail. I would suggest trying Find/Replace first since that is easiest.

Thank you for your response guys, much appreciated. However the Option of Find and Replace does not seem to be an Option in the Cloud version, this would have been the simplest way. However I would look at the other two options of Migration jobs or a Script. Cheers
