Hello,

we have a client on IFS9 with Appowner other than IFSAPP.

we are upgrading the client to IFSCloud25R1. can we use the same appowner or we will need to change it to IFSAPP. as define.tem script says

-- Altering usernames (schema) will in the future be deprecated, so use defaults
-- e.g. IFSAPP and IFSINFO for all fresh installs
Please suggest

regards

Pankaj

In cloud upgrade document its mentioned to have ifsapp only. so got the answer :)

Hi @paguin ,

It still works to alter the schema name. But it is in a deprecation period.

From define.tem:

-- The name of the application owner
DEFINE APPLICATION_OWNER        = IFSAPP
-- Altering usernames (schema) will in the future be deprecated, so use defaults

I would suggest you try pretty hard align to using IFSAPP as most installation/upgrade tests within RnD are made using IFSAPP.

In IFS cloud service the default schema name is mandatory I think.
