I am referring to the window Human Resources > Time Management > Time Registration in IFS9 that we use.
When someone reports, say, 10 hours its nice to have a popup asking them to make mandatory attendance notes.
In your view, would we need a customization
?
What would be a good workaround without going through a customization?

Can this maybe be done with an Event? Otherwise it is a development idea, since this does not exist today.
You do not mention what sort of Time Reporting we are talking about. Since it is in the Time Registration window, is it maybe Project, WO or Shop Order? In that case you can setup so that 10h of work requires the Employee to report any hours exceeding the scheduled time as Overtime, Flex etc. Thereby the wage code indicate the attendance, instead of writing a comment.
