Hi!

A customer encounter the following messages when terminating  employees in IFS 9.

This issue has been going on for a while making the use of the assistant

Would anyone happen to know what might be causing this, or have come across something similar? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

1.

  1. We also have another similar error message (sorry for the swedish) Translation: Field [SEQ_NO] is mandatory for Employee Status Details and must have a value.

Would you have any ideas @ADDMARIAE ?

Thanks!

@Anna Holmberg : 1) In Employee Files > Employment > Periods tab, there must be Employment Type field which must have value. If value is blank, then system is giving this error message during the termination process.

  1. Similarly, In Employee Files > RMB > Set Employee Status, there must be employee status with valid from date. If value is blank, then system is giving this error message during the termination process.

Please confirm if values are already available on above fields?

Best Regards

Hi,

Some questions:

So you mean it works if you set an end date value by value in Employee file - but not when running the assistant?

Have you tested with a user with absolutely full access and HR Application manager access?

Could it be that the end dates mismatch between the different values? Like VIkas say, maybe employment period but no status? If there is NO status it means that the employee is in state Preliminary…

You do have employment period on the employee you terminate?

Are these employees by any chance migrated in to the customer environment? So there could be som old mismatches that cause this?

Maybe just a lot if questions but somethings to look in to at leaste - maybe something of this could explain it?

Regards,

Maria

Hi,

thank you @ADDMARIAE , we certainly have som things to look into now. We do not experience the same issue in their cfg-Cloud environment. I’ll post another comment once we figure this out for others who might be experiencing the same problem :)
