Terminate Employment Errors and Warnings

Hi, 

my customer is unable to successfully terminate an employee and is getting errors and warnings that don’t make sense to me. 

I’ve checked and verified that all assignments and other connections are dated correctly (including the former employment in another company). Does anyone of you have any ideas or come across this before?

Did you check if for the same person ID, there are multiple Employee File records which are Active. Also for the Error message if the Position ID is available with valid dates?

Yes, I’ve checked and the other employment is not active and the position ID validity dates are between 2003-2007. 

Any other ideas? :)

Hi ​@Anna Holmberg,

 

Position ID validity can be one reason then if you are trying to terminate the employee in 2026 which was expired in 2007. However, it is better to check the Employment Termination Log, which might give a clear idea of the Termination Activity whichever has a problem.
