Hi,

This depends on the setting Direct Supervisor Selection in the header of the Graphical Organization Structure: it should be ‘Based on immediate parent position or above’.

Best regards,

Martin

Thank you for your response.

Let us understand with an example.

I have an Organization unit A with Position Structure as Sr. Manager > Line Manager > FTEs

Field Technician : 10

Line Manager : 1

Sr. Manager :1

I want to setup like:

5 FTEs should be accessed by Line Manager (Sr. Manager will have access to Line Manager and his sub ordinates)

Other 5 FTEs should directly accessed by Senior Manager (Line Manager should not have access to these 5 FTEs)

How we can setup the access for above scenario.

Hi,

Then you’ll have to split the organizational unit into two units.

E.g.

Unit A (parent unit) in which you have the senior manager with 5 FTEs as direct subordinates

Unit AA (child unit) in which you have the line manager with the remaining 5 FTEs as direct subordinates
