Single Absence Type using in Quick absence and absence request

@sarahk : Pl find below pointwise explanation:

1. If Requested type as ‘No’, then absence will not be displayed into Absence Request
2. Absence cannot be approved automatically. New custom event can be created to approve the absence automatically.

As Vikas has already clarified, 

1. Requested type  ‘No’, absence cannot be used is Absence Request. But anytime, you can set it to Yes if needed.
2. Regarding the available options, you have to stick to the Request Settings.

can i stop an on going absence which is in Registered state

Hi @sarahk ,

You can do editing if it is on Registered state. Simply select the line, and edit the record.
