Hi community,

 

It’s possible to have in the organization 2 roles with the same attribute assigned but with different Data Operation Type?

 

For e.g: Management and HR executive

With this attribute assigned

 

For role HR Executive grant all the data operation type: Active, Registration, Modification and Removal.

But for role Management only: Active and Registration (don’t want to allow edit the absence or removal).

The issue is that I just want to give the permission to the supervisor to approve the absence request but not edit or remove it.

Hi Any, 

You will need to create a duplicate of the attribute.

You can keep the system defined one for HR and create a new one for the supervisor, and untick the 2 toggle (modification/removal).

 

Hi, Yes I have tried that option but the problem is that if I untick the modification toggle, won’t let me approve the absence…..

 

Ok so you maybe can restrict on the status changes of the absence

Maybe I am missing your point but is not the status I want to restrict, is the option to edit or remove the absence. In that option field configuration how can it be possible this?

Hi Any,

By not enabling the status registered via the acces attribute to the supervisor, they shall not be able to edit the absence.
