create a new employee using the same person ID in the new company then use the option ‘Transfer Employee Data’ under employments section in IFS cloud in the employee file to transfer the details required.

Transfer employee data option should be in the Right mouse button if you are using IFSAPP10 IEE client

Yes you are correct. Choose that option and give the person ID for whom you want to create new employment.
