Is there a way to adjust an employee's absence balance

Hi,

 

Is there a way to adjust an employee's absence balances in IFS other than recording an absence request or regenerating the starting balance under Absence Limit Year?

We used to do that in  Apps8 long time ago with another customer i worked with using Balances Accruals and Withdrawals screen. We only see OT Bank there ...not the Vacation or Sick Time which are also having yearly allotments given.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

 

Seems like you talk about two different things here. What do you use? Time Balances or Absence limits.

Or maybe a combination?

  • For absence limits you can always enter adjustments / corrections in employee Absence under Absence parameter(if the absence type allows). Generate absence limit again after entering the parameter.

     

  • For time balances you can make an adjustment per a given date in “Change Time balance”

    We are using Absence Limits. I wasn’t aware about the adjustments using the Parameter Value. I will try that in TEST environment to see if it works. Thank you so much for the idea. I was aware about the Change Time Balance for the Banked OT balances, which we use.
