Hello everyone, I hope you're all well.

A quick question about absences. I've seen that there is a ‘Notes’ field on Absence Registration and Absence. But I can't enter any text in it, it's greyed out and nothing is indicated.

Does anyone know what it's for and how to use it? I tried to find it through the process of declaring an absence but nothing worked...

@ksebf : ‘Notes’ field is not editable, and even user cannot add anything into ‘Notes’ while creating new record.

From the base Page Designer Configuration, this seems to have something to do with Expected Return Date.

Note is made editable when ExpectedReturnDateEnabled is set to true.

This is all dependent on the Absence Type ID, and is set like this:

If your absence type is set to “Enable Expected Return Date”, Notes should become editable, and will even become Mandatory is the Mandatory flag is set as well.
