Hi,
Can someone please suggest is there any option to increase the size of detail description field from Incident Screen to accept 10000 characters. At present, the field size is VARCHAR2(4000).
Is there any other option to increase it with configuration option or through modification?
Quick help would be appreciated.

The option is to do a modification to increase the length. The detail description field is referenced and used in different places in the client, database packages and tables so those references should also be accordingly modified to support the new length (requires investigation). Otherwise you might run into errors.

I have edited my response as maximum character length that can be defined for a custom field of type text is 4000. So you will have to go for a modification.
