Hi,

 

I have an issue that I hope somebody could help me with.. 

 

Background:

I used the cut and paste feature in Graphical Organization Structure to move two organizational units below another org unit. I did this in order to be able to change the Responsible Person setting to reflect the current organization. Normally the setting is set to ‘Inherit’, but in this case I needed the setting to be set to ‘Specific Position’. I verified every step in our Test environment and everything worked as expected.

 

Issue:

When I proceeded to make the same changes in our production environment I get duplicates of the organization units, they are now located in two different places. See the green markings below.

 

 

Since this is in our production environment I feel hesitant to make any further changes without being advised on how to proceed.  

 

If you have any input or need more clarification, please let me know.

Hi,

My first guess would be something with the dates.. In the screen shot I can’t see there is a date set in “Valid on date” - is there?

Any difference if you change the date before the change date  or after the change date?

Thanks for your reply. 

 

Everything was identical from what I could see. I’ve also tried to change the dates around and refreshing the browser in case it was some sort of hang up in the structure but no luck before..

I decided to try again now after your reply and the duplicates disappeared! Thank you so much! :)
