Can we convert a prospect to an account (existing)?

I have a quote with the customer type being a prospect that has 80 lines with notes and document texts and each line item has it’s own individual discount. I’m told that I have to recreate the quote under the appropriate customer number, since they are now a customer and purchased something after this quote was created. Is it possible to convert a quote that is a prospect into an existing customer that has an account number? If so, can you please guide me as to how to do this so that I don’t have to recreate the quote? We are using IFS 7.5L

HI,

Are there any objects connected to your Sales Quotation i.e., Business Opportunity? If not i believe you can simply change the customer account. This is possible in Cloud (appreciate you are using 7.5) with the exception when other objects are connected. Then it is not possible.

 

Do you have the Copy Sales Quotation Function?

Or simply create a new Sales Quotation Header and then copy the 80 lines from the previous Sales Quotation and paste them in the new Sales Quotation.
