Hi everyone,

 

I was wondering if anyone using Apps 10 Aurena is also using the Recruitment section in IFS? We are trying to implement this section and want to integrate it with an external career’s page but there is no standard IFS functionality available (apart from an XML file integration). Has anyone done this before? Any pointers into the right direction would be much appreciated.

Hi Maria,

To IFS Applications 10 we introduced a generic framework to integrate to 3rd party ATS solutions. Reason: there are a lot of best of breed ATS solutions on the market and those ATS solutions have integrations to external career’s pages. There are also customers with existing ATS solutions and for us in IFS HCM to support with a generic framework to integrate.

I too faced a similar expectation during an implementation (interface with the clients careers page) but couldn't find an alternate in standard other than the XML upload (this was fetching very basic information about the candidate, not very sure if the RnD Released any updates recently) we did suggest a solution but Unfortunately this didn't materialize,

The solution suggested was to introduce few interfaces via IFS Connect

  • Published Requisitions (The once marked External)
    • Few information based on the Requisition.
    • Competency and Qualification expectation to be fetched based on Job ID or the Profile ID
  • Qualifications
    • Interface to provide the Qualification basic data in IFS which will allow the candidates to insert the same data when filling their info via the careers page. (this was to utilize the matching engine and generate initial candidate list)
    • Educational , Competencies, Certificates
  • An Interface to any submitted applications to be pushed into the recruitment module (our suggested solution was to automate the conversation of external to internal candidate as well)

We suggested the client to use above interfaces to fill in their careers page and to push back the applications. (Alternatively, check if you can uplift the Apps09 Code on web recruitment might make things easy,  kindly check the feasibility)

Thank you both for your replies. What you were suggesting @XitInaamM is what the customer was envisaging and is requesting. I think we will end up doing something similar in Phase 2 of their project.
