This question went unanswered over a year ago and I am hoping someone figured it out.

In IFS 10 > Quality Management > Tool > Manufacturing Tool Instances page when the “Next Calibration Date” has passed, the validity does not change from “Active”.

Is there a way to make the Tool Instance Validity change from Active to Blocked, when the Next Calibration Date has passed?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi @PM42 ,

I am not super familiar how the calibration requirement of a Manufacturing Tool is linked to the tool’s validity, if there even is such a connection, but how about this:

You could basically set the tool’s validity end date to mirror the next calibration date 1:1. Then when the next calibration date is reached, it’s validity would also end and user intervention is required.

It’s a workaround, but would that work?

Br,
