How to do time tracking for products which are produced through Kanbans and not Shop Orders?

You can setup the kanban part to generate shop order requisitions, or shop orders and report time using shop floor workbench as usual.

Thank you for your response.

Is there a tutorial video demonstrating how it’s done? If yes, could you send the link? Thanks

@Nazarelakshmeesha I don’t have any tutorial, but the setup is quite simple:

  1. Set the Default Supply Type for the part:
    1. Order - Will create a Shop Order for a manufactured part
    2. Requisition - Will create a Shop Order Requisition for a manufactured part
    3. Schedule - Will create Production Schedule for a manufactured part
  2. Connect the part to a Production Line
  3. Create and activate Kanban Circuit for this part with Replenishment Type = Production Line
  4. If the circuit has Signal Type set to Electronic, you will scan the Kanban Card using the Kanban Replenishment Request dialog which will then create the shop order, requisition or production schedule
  5. If the circuit has signal type set to Reorder Point, you will instead run the Kanban Reorder Point Request

Thank you. I’ll try to set it up!
