Hi

I created a storage location and defined it's size as shown in the picture below.

I’m able to move a part/handling unit to a bin location that has a smaller width than the part's/handling unit’s width.

How can I set the dimension as a restriction?

@MHRDonato You can enable the storage requirement validation for the relevant location (or to a higher level in the warehouse structure) using the following flag. De-select the flag so that the system validates the dimension requirement when receiving/ moving parts to this location.

Hope this helps !

Hi,

@Buddhika Kurera , I already have it unmarked and the system still allows me to move wider parts to it’s location.

I tried different part sizes, and it only blocks when the part’s volume is greater than the location’s available volume.

Which allows me to move part’s that in size doesn’t fit, because the part’s volume is smaller than the location’s available volume.

Hi,

I’ve been trying to make it work, however I can’t find a solution for this, It seems that the system validates the restriction with the logic of || where I believe it should be &&.

As an exemple, if the location has the needed volume available, the system doesn’t consider the size of the box.

Has anyone had this problem, any suggestions of how to fix it?

Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same issue.

@nsmith Hi, not yet.

It still wont work.

@nsmith hi, were you able to resolve the issue?

We received the update 25 for the IFS Applications 10, after that we managed to use the restrictions as intended.

I hope it could help you.
