Hello all,

I wonder if I can define a deputy for a user to be authorized same as the initial user in IFS Enterprise.

For example, purchasing manager “Mark” is on holiday for 2 weeks so I need someone else to be authorized instead of him who will temporarily have Mark’s role.

Can anyone help in this matter?

Thank you,

Enbiya Ahmet Koktas

Hi @enbiyakoktas you can do this using this screen,

Just make sure that the substitute already exists as a purchasing authorizer.

Cheers,

Jamie

Here is a way this configuring for a “deputy user” could be done in Apps 10:

Thank you so much Jamie, your answer helps a lot!

I didn’t quite understand. Do you mean I can give the same permissions to the deputy user and revoked them once he/she returns?

So I would be manually giving permission sets, is that correct?

Correct.  An alternative to the convenient “Purchase Authorizer Substitutes” option presented above.

Thank you so much Eugene! This will help when we need a deputy except purchasing authorizations.
