Hello

We have orders but with staggered payment times within them. When the sales team create the quotes with the other all costs in and once these bid are won. Is there a step that we can put in place to create the payment milestones that trigger accounting for the invoice to be sent out the customer but also working from the overall amount.

Thank you!

Hannah

You should be able to find detailed info on Staged Billing in IFS Help.

Hello, I have noticed that there are some milestones in the agenda of Staged Billing.

However, I cannot find the agenda to fulfill the values in for IFS Cloud. Could somebody advise on where and how to fill in the given values?

Thank you

Hi @PetaKu,

The concept of milestones is to provide the user with a tool to track the progress of different events that take place during the order flow. Different events could, for instance, be 'Start of production' or 'Shipment of goods.'

Milestones are entered for a customer order line. The milestones can be entered manually or you can choose among different predefined templates for milestones. Start date, lead time, expected finish date, actual finish date, and percentage progress are entered for a milestone.
