Configuration Evaluation Error

Hi all,

 

I have an error message while releasing a customer order. The customer order has a sales part which has configured part on the order lines. 
The error message;
Configuration Evaluation error:  Characteristic value X does not exist for characteristic Y component part spec. revision K 1.
I have checked however can not to determine any reason, all looks as it's supposed to be. What could be reason? Which points should be checked? 


Addition info;
A supply code is DOP Order on the order lines.

from my experience normally this kind error comes from the modification of the CTO setting, some new modification valid after your CO first created date, and you need to go into configuration edit make the configuration again would be solve the issue

and with your additional information of DOP

then you need to check whether you customer status released or not, if released would be much more complex, and need to further job in DOP orders, if this is the case, i can give you more information in details

Hi @sherry,

 

First of all thanks for your response. The problem has been determined, it was not directly DOP order however associated with DOP order. I mean that one of component material belongs to top inventory part(also sales part) did not have the cractaristic value so the error message was occured. When the cractestic value has been defined, the issue was solved.
