Hello,

As I’m trying to lock down and restrict shared accounts to only be able to log into specific production kiosks. I’m running into issues where the shared accounts are not able to log into IFS (PROD and TEST).  For instance, from our Active Directory environment, I’ve chosen USER01 to only be able to log into PC01.  However,  once the user is on that PC and tries logging into IFS we see the following alert:  “invalid username/password”, “the user is not authorized to log in” or “the service is currently unavailable”.  In this case it has to be the authorized login.

In troubleshooting I added our IFS APP and DB servers to the list of allowed computers/units USER01 can access which didn’t help.  I understand when accessing PROD or TEST it authenticates with the respective server but I’m just not sure why adding the servers to the allowed computers list won’t allow access.

Is there something else I’m missing or is this process not compatible with IFS?
