Business Impact/concern: End user experience in remote locations may be severely degraded without proper WAN connectivity.

We have Cisco SD-WAN implemented in all our sites, which provides greatly improved user experience for IFS 10 users in e.g. Asia. We are extending the SD-WAN to Azure (implementing Cisco SD-WAN virtual appliances) in the coming weeks, and want to secure that IFS Cloud user experience gains from this implementation.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Hi

IFS Cloud is seen and developed as a true public internet-based solution with a high degree of latency tolerance (typically what can induce problems in internet communication), refer to our network sizing guide where latency tolerance is reported on.

As public internet has no SLAs on latency, customers that have global users in locations where internet connectivity may be poor (China, Brasil, India, etc), they need to find ways of solving that problem by using different types of solutions. An MPLS solution from these locations with bad internet connectivity with an end-point closer to the service endpoint could be one way of solving that issue. MPLS providers can offer SLA on latency in different tiers of their offering.
