Using SCIM with Entra AD - Status 500 Insufficient access rights

We are attempting to enable SCIM in our environment and we are running into permissions issues. Is there any type of permissions setup that needs to be setup for SCIM to be setup. 

ORA-20105: AccessAttribute.NO_ACC_TO_PERS_MOD: Insufficient access rights. You cannot modify Pers data for the person CWHITE.

This happens to any user we attempt to provision. I know we have restrictions in place so only specific users have access to user data, but how can I get SCIM to update what it needs.

I think it has something to do with our internal employees being flagged as Protected on the Persons record.

No, I received a plan from the consultants that are assisting us with our upgrade, however I have been swamped with GAP training and workshops. I have not had time to investigate further. Here was the response from our consultant. 

I think the user for SCIM needs an access role at the person level to view the employees in this case

Just a note. We ended up opening a case for this issues. 

IFS Support

We have now accepted your case as most likely a core product error. We will begin designing the fix which will be released in accordance with our support policy.

 

Our Product Development team have informed that they will fix this issue in the version 26R1 EA

 

I guess we will see if its actually fixed once we decided to upgrade.
