Hi,
I created a custom method to load the documents into IFS using default reader IN_DIRECTORY path. I could see the status changed into Checked In and also able to locate the file in EDM_FILE_STORAGE view (can view the BLOB file from PL/SQL). But it when checking the repository ftp location file is not there and also giving an error when trying to view.
Appreciate any suggestions.

We have a similar error when loading files manually to our ftp repository. We’ve never figured out why. It affects around 1-2% of our documents. Following to see if anyone else has ideas, all we ever get as a response is that it should be in the database and then it wouldn’t happen. With nearly 1 million documents attached in 5 years, it isn’t feasible in the database.

Is this intermittent or completely broken?
When I was at a previous company, we had a routine that only returned the filename. We then had to drop the file into the FTP path ourselves, using that name, for it to really exist.
