Hi,

Our customers are using TLS 1.2. I would like to know if "IFS APPS 10" is suitable for TLS 1.3.

I can see from the following posts on IFS Community that TLS 1.3 seems to be the standard for IFS Cloud.

https://community.ifs.com/framework-experience-infrastructure-cloud-integration-dev-tools-50/tls-1-3-downgrade-to-tls-1-2-for-boomi-connection-to-ifs-cloud-15735

Someone has even made TLS 1.3 work with Apps9.

https://community.ifs.com/framework-and-experience-101/what-versions-of-tls-does-ifs-support-2142

But I don't see any info for "IFS APPS 10".

Best regards,

Romain

Hi,

We can’t officially support TLS1.3 as Oracle don’t support it for OHS 12.2.1.4.0 - They do support it on Weblogic but not on the fronting OHS that we use for all requests (as we support clustering).

If you have a Oracle support account you can find it here:
https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?_afrLoop=99010130392162&parent=EXTERNAL_SEARCH&sourceId=HOWTO&id=2650951.1&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.ctrl-state=yle4mzoo2_4

FYI - we have raised a SR towards Oracle on this earlier, but they are unwilling to confirm a date when they will support TLS1.3 in OHS

If TLS1.3 is a hard customer requirement,  a SSL offloading proxy can be placed in front of IFS Application.
