Setup a Stream Message Notification in IEE

This is a simple guide on how to setup a stream message notification in IEE if you aren’t familiar.

Following is an example where creating a new stream message for event PURCHASE_ORDER_RELEASED which will basically notify when a purchase order is released. 


Navigate to Solution Manager →  Integration → Events → New Event Action


Create a new event action as below.

 

After you create and save the changes with the action enabled, you will receive a notification as below when a purchase order is released.

We have configured Streams notifications following your guide that have as receiver several users:

There is an user of those receiving the notifications that when logging in IFS, does not see the notification pop up in icon (meaning that he has unread notifications):

However, when opening the notifications panel, he sees that there are several notifications that he has not read:

Shall we configure anything else on the user level so he gets the notifications pop up?
When sending notifications to several users, those notifications are only shown till the first user reads them? If this is the case, is there a way to configure that the notifications remain pending to every user till they open it?
