Issue

There are issues where some users might encounter where some windows are being displayed incorrectly etc. While there can be numerous reasons which can cause this, a common reason is the profile being corrupt for the particular window.

Solution

In such scenarios, the easiest way is to delete the profile node for the underlying window (and any parent windows - if applicable). To do this, the below steps needs to be followed:

  1. Login from App Owner
  2. Go to Solution Manager\Security\Users\Create User and query for the user which has the error
  3. Go to User Profile for the specifc user

  1. Go to either View Base Profile or View Personal Profile

  1. Inside the selected profile, first export the current profile (if there is any need to import it again this backup can be used, this should be considered as mandatory if this is a Live environment)

  1. Save the exported file and go to the path in the screenshot below (go to the relevant form or table: for example frmPostingProposal/tblPostings)

  1. RMB and delete the specific node for the window which is causing the issue
  2. The same steps should be followed for the other profile as well (Base or Personal)

Afterwards, log out from the App Owner account and log in from the User Account whether the issue is resolved.
