I tried to create a layout using report studio for a newly created report. then I got the error below, designing tools are not visible..

Did you find anything out with this?  I have the same problem.

You need to import the generated .xsd schema to the report definition page for the appropriate report.

 

refresh the metadata

 

reload the report studio
