rename label og a core field

Hello,

I found the topic “Rename columns and tabs in Apps 10 (IEE) and I tried the same procedure before, but with no success.

In the LU production tool there are two note fields. Once on the LU tool and once in the tool details.

One oh these fields I wanted to rename. I went to the LU Field Translations and searched for these fields and changed the translation.

Afterwards I also updated the caches and restarted IFS. All without success. In the mask, the descriptions are still displayed as they are.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Andre Martin 
I couldn't find header notes text filed in the APPS10 core application. So I believe the header Notes filed was added through a customization or extension merge.

Anyhow you can change the label text as you tried.
But seems you changed the wrong translation entry.

in the core application below is the correct path for notes filed

Path : Ifs.Application.Toolmf_.frmManufToolDetail.labeldfsNoteText.Text

Could you please try by changing this?

at first, the notes Field ist not a custom field in my enviroment.

 

And it´s the same like in the other case, I can´t find the entry that is shown in your screenshot.

 

Your screenshot shows as maintype “RWC”. If I search for this, I get not data.

What is wrong in my enviroment?
