Can somebody provide more information on Pricing using Customer Hierarchy?

I have a customer A that is connected to Customer B in a Hierarchy (A is below . Customer A has no pricelist/customer price group attached. Customer B is attached to a Customer price Group.

When making a Sales Quotation for Customer B, the system takes the right Pricelist as Pricesource.

But when I try to make a SQ for Customer A, the pricesource is directly to the Sales Part. But according to my understanding, because A belongs to B in the Hierarchy, it should be possible to use the price lists attached to customer B.

Is there another setting we have to set? Or do I misinterpret the online documentation? See point 4.1.1.1 and 4.1.2.1 below.
