Hello,

We’ve recently enable AAD authentication for our test environment in IFS 10 UPD9. Is it possible to use Oracle accounts in IFS still with AAD enabled? If so, how do we authenticate the Oracle accounts with SSO?

Any accounts that use non-AD credentials simply need to have an Oracle account in the database, and have the Web ID/Directory ID on the User Details screen refer to that Oracle ID instead of the AD account.

The only other difference is that in order to log in with Oracle account those users need to use the “IFS Enteprise Explorer - Admin” link from the homepage instead of the “IFS Enterprise Explorer” account.

Thank you for the speedy reply. When I try the admin Enterprise Explorer link I get the same Microsoft login window (see below). Is there a separate configuration needed for the admin enterprise explorer?

If you go to your “full” homepage where you can see all links you should see 2 different ones for IEE.

The screenshot in the post above was taken after clicking the IFS Enterprise Explorer - Admin link from the https://server:port/index_admin.html page

How do you log in as IFSAPP or any other internal IFS account today?  Fundamentally, those work the way that you want your non-AD users to work.

Hi @mkellythegreat

Use Microsoft Edge to get database authentication logon window.

Thank you knepiosko, I was using Google Chrome. Microsoft Edge did the trick. Thanks all!
