Hello everyone,

We have discovered the following:
When we create a new request and want to assign the work to a specific person, no persons are suggested. As soon as we deactivate the “Apply Constrains” function, we see the persons, but it is only by a new request. Since we have several resource groups, we see the persons twice.

In our test environment, we have no problem selecting a person and do not need to deactivate the “Apply Constrains” function:

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

Thank you!

Hi,

The reason for not seeing any available resources when “Apply constraints” is set could be that:

  • The Work Task Company is different that the resources company
  • The Resources are not set as “Used in Service”
  • The Service Organization on the Work Task is different than the resources service organization.
  • There are no resources in the resource group on the resource demand.

Best to double-check these settings on one of the resources and test.

Hello @ajnsse,

Thank you for your reply. It helped us dig a little deeper in the settings. The service resources were not connected to the service delivery unit of the dataset and this is why we had the issue.

Best regards,

Iulia
