In a remote deployment for an IFS CLoud 21R2 installation, what are your best practices to monitor a production environment?
In the application itself we can use the application monitoring console.
The oracle database can be monitored by oracle tools.
What about the middletier? Is there any notification tool that would notify you if anything is not working correctly? A pod that stops working etc.

You should be able to use Grafana dashboard to monitor middle tier health from 21R2. I haven’t played around with this my self but the documentation available in https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/21r2/020_installation/010_installing_fresh_system/030_preparing_server/56_metrics_monitoring/ seems like a good starting point.
