Micro Cache performance in quick reports

During the process of upgrading from Apps 9 to Cloud we have noticed a number of Get- apis have been updated to use a micro-cache method rather than a sub query:

The performance hit on a quick report using these apis as been quite dramatic. Is there a was to speed these calls up? We obviously have the option to put sun-queries direct in the report but there could be lots of them.
