All,

We are on APPS10 UPD15.

‘’Received error message from Node Manager Server: eServer start command for WebLogic server 'MainServer1' failed due to: uServer failed to start up but Node Manager was not aware of the reason]. Please check Node Manager log and/or server 'MainServer1' log for detailed information.]. Please check Node Manager log for details. “

When examining the nodemanger.log there appear multiple errors for jobs that no longer exist.

<Server output log file is 'D:\ifs\mws\ifsstage\wls_domain\IFSSTAGE\servers\MainServer1\logs\MainServer1.out'>
<The server 'MainServer1' with process id 8388 is no longer alive; waiting for the process to die.>

I have rebooted the server multiple time with no success.

How can these errors be resolved so the MainServer1 can be restarted successfully?

Thanks

In addition to rebooting,  the .DAT files were deleted and .lok files were deleted.

Hi @brantmb ,

Could you please check the logs for MainServer1 as well? Usually clues could be found in the log entries as to the reason MainServer1 is not starting up.

You should also check for any .lck and .lok files that are associated with the MainServer1 process within the IFS home. These could prevent a new process from starting up.
