Hi everyone,

Did anyone experiencing an internal server error while logging into IFS Cloud? It happens randomly even with initial load on IFS Cloud. Sometimes refreshing the page doesn't work. The user needs to restart the browser or navigate back to the startup page and log in again. Is this a cache issue?  We are using Google Chrome. Are there any tricks to get rid of this?

Thanks!

This happens frequently when the session times out and the user tries to log back in. We find ALT-Home fixes it.  We actually had to get some single button USB keyboards for our shop floor computers since they are touchscreen. We programmed them for ALT-Home and they work fine. I have a case open with IFS but no answers so far

Remove the words after .com in the URL. This works for me.

You must have the browsers startup page set to the ifs login url and thats why ALT+HOME works for you, same can be done by just setting a link with your url/main/ifsapplications/web/start on your browser’s favorite bar and clicking it.

either way I find it annoying and confuses users the first few times and IFS should do something about it.

R and D has finally identified the issue and there is supposed to be a fix in 25R2

I recently experienced a very similar issue on our environment. In my case, I had IFS Cloud open in two different browser tabs, and this internal server error occurred in only one of them while the other tab worked fine.We are currently running on IFS Cloud 24R2.

As mentioned by Alex, this was expected to be fixed in 25R2. Does anyone know if this fix has actually been released and applied? Also, is there any official documentation that explains the root cause and details of the fix?

Any updates would be greatly appreciated!

Confirming that we are on 25R2 and experiencing this very issue. It appears this issue has NOT been fixed and we currently have raised a case with IFS Support because we have users hitting this issue during our Go Live.

@hamalk is there an IFS representative that can speak to this experience? Suggest settings and/or a timeline for fixes that don’t involve the user manipulating the url or hitting back several time would be great. If this information already exists, could you please point us to it?

This happens even in the buildplace so it seems to be inherent in the standard setup.
