Has anyone created an integration between IFS and Tekla? If so, I’d be interested in starting a discussion. What is your integration doing? What issues did you run into? Any advice for someone just embarking on this project?

Great question. There’s a lot to think about when you talk integrating with IFS and Tekla. I recommend contacting CADTALK. Their website has great insights in what to think about when thinking about starting this project. You can even schedule a live demo with them.
CADTALK has a off the shelf integration to IFS Inventory Parts and structures and Engineering Parts and structures. It’s a configurable solution and does not require custom programming.
