In IFS Apps V10 How to Decrypt the Encrypted Password

Hi All,

 

Hope you & your families are safe and sound...!!!  

We need your expertise on the below,

  • how to Decrypt the Encrypted Password from following IFSHOME path..?
  • What is the Encryption methodology IFS application uses.?

Drive:\IFSHOME\instance\<Instancename>\<Instancename>_configuration.xml

VivekNR,

I think that you have to raise an LCS case at IFS for that.

Next to this it would not be ethical to describe how to hack the password in this community.

I see you posted this about three months ago. Did this change in Apps 10?

I’ve seen support personnel from an otherwise reputable vendor request this file, and people probably give it up for them willingly with the unspoken assumption that password decryption is impossible. You should always be transparent about your intentions.
