Hello my dear community,

Has anyone ever encountered Exception License error.: License error. Error number: 13 with IFS Print Agent. Anyone would have any ideas as to what caused it? What license am I to be looking at?

Thanks,

Kasia

Hi,

Check if your IFSPRINT user account is locked or the user license is invalid.

Hi @Kasia

Was there any recent maintenance on the environment? Could you please check whether the Print Agent is updated and its using the correct credentials?
Also what is the error you get in the print agent logs?

Hi @Kasia

Just one addition to above. Just try re-enter the password of IFSPRINT.  IFS automatically adds (what appears to be) encrypted password text into the password field even if the password field is actually BLANK (like after you uninstall and reinstall the print agent) so if everything looks good and things still don’t work make sure you have entered the IFSPRINT user’s password!

Print Queue Error says:

com.datalogics.PDFL.LibraryException: License error.: License error. Error number 13

Log also has that followed by:

at com.datalogics.PDFL.PDFLJNI.Document_print__SWIG_0(Native Method)
    at com.datalogics.PDFL.Document.print(Document.java:532)
    at ifs.fnd.printingnode.RemoteJob.PDFLPrintDoc(RemoteJob.java:817)

I’ve seen that in Tom’s reply. Where do you re-enter password for IFSPRINT?

In the print agent configuration, you may need to rerun the print agent installation in order to re enter it.
